This programme encourages youth to look beyond their horizons to discover activities that are inspiring, learn about other societies from the host community and from counterparts. The programme provides a host of learning opportunities, exciting activities and inspiring workshops that will broaden youth experiences, international perspectives, understanding of different culture and the exchange of ideas.

Programme Objectives:

  • To provides a range of opportunities for youth development around Europe and the World.
  • To inspire youth to look beyond their horizon to discover activities that are inspiring, learn about great things from the host community and from counterparts.
  • To provides host of learning opportunities, exciting activities and inspiring workshops that will broaden youth experiences, international perspectives, different culture and the exchange of ideas.

  • Students will get the chance to learn both local and foreign cultures and to understand the difference between various cultural norms. 
  • It affords them the opportunity to make new friends in a learning and social environment
  • It prepares them to face the challenges of life and helps them to become responsible persons in society.
  • Gives the opportunity to travel throughout the island of Ireland and experience Irish cultural activities.
  • Provides the opportunity to learn something very new in their lives by sharing experiences with fellow participants from all over the world along with the hosting community.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

All projects and programmes are monitored by individual questionnaire at beginning, middle and end of the sessions to determine satisfaction ratings.

Comprehensive evaluations are carried at the completion by an independent academic agency. This will involve quantitative and qualitative analyses.

Certification:

On completion, participants will receive a YCKE certificate in Cultural Exchange along with Youth Pass.

Minimum Entry Requirements

The candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Must be 18 – 30 Years old in two separate blocks (18-25, 25-30)
  • Committed to join full programme
  • Able to easily adapt to a new environment
